The honest , straight-forward , god-fatherly personality Dr. Scientist, Historian poor fellow , Rajiv Dixit is no more.
It's quite surprising, amazing, I am afraid how such a guy has breathed his last . His death is mystery? I pray the entire media club members to please help each other and urge the govt to probe into his mysterious death. TEARS COME INTO MY EYES when I heard this shocking news. See what was! What he gave to India and what She gave him in return!
Rajiv Dixit was born on 30 November 1967 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradeshin a freedom fighters family. From childhood on he was fond of variousIndian revolutionaries like Mahatma Gandhi,Bhagat Singh,Chandrasekhar Azad,Subhas Chandra Bose and all other true patriots. He was also ascientist and has worked with A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. He also worked in France and CSIR India in the telecommunications sector For the last 20 years he has been promoting the concept of Indian Swadeshi (self-sufficiency) from foreign goods and businesses. He did his Doctorate in France in the subject of science but never used Dr. before his name.
He rested in peace on 30 November 2010 when he was in Bhilai for his Bharat Swabhiman Tour.
After his death, no national media(except aastha tv and sanskar channel) told about this great person. He will always live in the hearts of millions and millions of true Indians. No one knows what happened to rajiv's body. What happened to his body. Some suspect that he has been murdered by the corrupt administration of India because in a place where if even a dog dies, it makes national headlines; here a great leader dies of reasons unknown to anyone in India, there is definitely something wrong somewhere. We can only hope that the doctors find out how he died. But since no media channel had the guts to report his death, it will not come as a surprise that even this great soul's death is forgotten soon.
Dixit supported the movement of opening a chain of Swadeshi General Stores, where only Indian-made goods are sold. The concept is that the consumer can get the goods at cheaper rates and the whole chain from producer to consumer gets equal benefits, instead of most of the money going to producers and suppliers.[7][8] He initiated movements like the Swadeshi Movement and Azadi Bachao Andolan and became their spokeperson.[9] He addressed a rally of over 50,000 people under the leadership of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch in New Delhi.[8] He also took leadership of the programme held at Calcutta which was supported and promoted by various organizations and prominent personalities and was celebrated all over India on the eve of the 150th Anniversary of the 1857 war of Indian independence.[8]
He demanded decentralization of taxation system, saying that the current system is the core reason for the corruption in bureaucracy. He claimed that 80% of taxes is being used to pay the politicians and bureaucrats and just 20% for development purposes for the people. He compared the current budget system of the Indian government to the earlier British budget system in India, presenting statistics to show that they are the same. Recently he was working with swami Ramdev in Bharat Swabhiman Trust as national secretary.[10]
He also doubted the terrorist attack on the United States Twin Towers, claiming that it was stage managed by U.S. Government itself, and supported the claims of Lone Lantern Society of the U.S.[11]
He also claimed that "liberalization, privatization and globalization, the three evil faces staring at us today, have pushed us towards a suicidal states."[1]
Showing his sympathy towards the Indian farmers, he argued that modern thinkers have neglected agricultural sectors and farmers have been left to feed themselves and committing suicide.[1] Expressing his views on Indian judiciary and legal system, he said that India is still following the laws and acts enacted during the British era and had not taken the burden of changing them as per the requirement of Indian people[2]
He also told that farmer can achieve better production with organic farming and without using fertilizers. He also proposed the full procedure for organic farming to get better production.
He was the first one to investigate about the black money kept Swiss bank by Indian politicians and bureaucrats and also told the procedures how to bring back that amount to India. He told about the harmful effects of Pepsi and coca cola and the toothpastes like Colgate-Palmolive and also against the companies like ITC,HUL and many other foreign companies.
He also collected 40 Lakh Signature for filing a public interest litigation for getting all black money which is in Swiss Bank.Dixit claims to be in possession of a list of 419 politicians who have stacked black money in Swiss banks. [12]
