“LEAD INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDIA TRAINING” first-of-its-kind initiative with an aim to shape skills and enhance employability of the aspiring media professionals /students, and also to bridge the gap between education and current demands from the media industry.

According to research reports, media industry is growing at 16% per annum and it offers immense opportunity to develop a career in it. There is a dearth of qualified and competent professionals. It has been observed that students have earned various degrees and diploma certificates, but they lack basic practical skills required for being a part of this sunrise sector. It has also seen our various mass communication courses are not designed in tune with the changing media trends and expectations.

“LIIMT” started with the mission to bridge this gap by some of the eminent media professionals. We at LIIMT believe that a mass communicator is not born, but, they can be trained. We believe that Practical exposure is indispensable. Otherwise trainee remains malnourished practically. No education is complete unless it is targeted towards the requirement of the media world and we are striving for this.
WHAT WE OFFER…

We offer two months of practical course where trainee will be working in the field as a Trainee Reporter with various magazines, newspaper and Web portal, like ‘insidestorymedia.com’, ‘LEAD INDIA’, ‘INSIDE STORY’ and ‘SENSEX TIME’, and will do coverage from different bits, for 5 hours and 1 hour for editorial board meeting. Then theory class will be taken by experienced journalists for 2 hours to improve their skills.
A press I-CARD to work in the real environment/field.
After successful completion of course trainee will not be awarded just one another degree or diploma certificate, but they will be awarded a two month work experience certificate and a strong profile(entirely done by trainee and published on online sites)
